SCT dance is located at 169 Thurman Baccus in Social Circle GA at the Mable Standridge Education building or as we call it the ‘Theater Annex’. We offer dance to all ages and skills. Rachel Wells Daniell teaches all our dance classes with the help of some of our older students. Currently we offer Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and kids classes.
Can my kids be in the same class?
Yes! Siblings can be in the same class. Ask Miss Rachel which class she would recommend.
Can parents watch?
1 parent per child can be in class for children 5 and under. Some children do better when parents are not in the room but we know you know your little one best!
What will they learn?
All classes have ballet at their foundation. Children will learn traditional ballet words. They will also have the opportunity to get the wiggles out and move about the class freely.
What do they need and where can I buy it ?
Students should wear what ever they are comfortable moving in. If you would like to buy traditional ballet clothes you can purchase at Covington dance and more. All tap students must have tap shoes.
Is there recital?
Yes! We typically have a winter show in December and a spring show in May. Tickets are 5$ and can be purchased online or in person
What are the fees ?
Classes cost $30 a month for 45 minutes a week and $40 a month for 1 hour a week. There is also a $25 registration fee and a $15 costume rental fee
Can I try it out?
Of course! Come and try a class and see if we are the right fit for you and your student!
